 I am JYOTSANA RANSAL, The founder of MAHESHE.

There was a time when I believed my dreams had to wait.

As a Kathak dancer, I have always loved the grace of movement — the swirl of fabric, the poetry of a flare. Anarkalis were never just outfits for me; they were confidence in motion. They made my dance beautiful. They made me feel beautiful.

But when life blessed me with a son who needed me more than the world did, my dreams quietly stepped aside. I couldn’t leave home for long hours. I couldn’t chase conventional success. So I buried my desire to build something of my own.

Until one day, I realised something — dreams don’t need permission from circumstances. They only need courage.

MAHESHE was born from that courage.

From my living room, between rehearsals and motherhood, I decided to build a brand that celebrates women who want elegance without heaviness, comfort without compromise, and confidence without apology.
